What FTP software should I use?

Solution We don't have a recommonded FTP client, but you can use IP Switch (http://www.ipswitch.com/) for Windows and Transmit for Macintosh from Panic (http://www.panic.com) for instance.

Both are commercial programs (you must pay to use them) but they each have free trial periods.

Free FTP software is also available: http://www.smartftp.com for Windows and http://fetchsoftworks.com for Mac.

You can find additional free FTP clients such as CuteFTP, Cyberduck, FileZilla, FireFTP and WinSCP. There are numerous other clients that can be used as well.
